Advice on placing a large wager on a fb game this weekend in Vegas???

A friend of mine wants to bet 40,000 to win around 20,000 on a game this weekend.

He would be flying to vegas on friday...........he already has the $$$ in his wells fargo acct.......

Whats to best way to do this???

I dont really think its such a great ideat to be boarding the plane with 40 grand in 100's in his pocket..........but then again I have not even don anything like this........

I told him I would post this a get your guys advice......

Whats the smartest way to do this???

Get a cashiers check hop on a plane take it to bank in vegas cash the check and make the wager.

forget the lineups, taxes, and other hassles.

open at betcris and pinnacle...will surely have better options at pinnacle on moneyline also.

He has a problem with this amt of $$$ with an overseas acct........

I keep telling him.......I am sure some of these accts take MUCH,MUCH bigger wagers than his 40,000.........especially in the NFL playoffs......

my account is in CDN $ but this is the limits i have at pinnacle for one bet / hit at a time:

just to give you an idea..divide it by approx 1.17 for US$

if pinnacle or betcris have trouble the world as we know it betting wise is in big do-do, vegas or otherwise!

He could also do a bank wire to the casino cage and talk to the sports book manager. As long as he is planning to play a side and not a total it should be no problem to bet 40k on an NFL playoff game as long as he doesn't plan to bet it 2 minutes before kick off. I am sure that is above the limit anyway and he would need to speak to someone and get an ok.

But personally would spread out into at least 5 wagers at different places because the casinos are theoretically supposed to make you fill out a form if you have 10k action.

He is probably safe off shore if he sticks with Pinnacle, Greek or Cris. If he is really planning to bet that much in Vegas or offshore I suggest you send Fletcher an email for his opinion.
