CLEEEEAR!!

DENVER -5 W

Peyton Manning is an astounding 6-0 when playing the same team after losing to them in the same season. That stat tells me that the smartest quarterback in the NFL learns from his mistakes and it also shows me what the man's heart is made of. This entire season has been about avenging an unforgivable loss last year to the Ravens in the playoffs. Manning and his team are focused this year and looking at one game at a time, unlike last year where they may have been looking towards the Superbowl before taking 1 snap. Denver's secondary has come into question. However, within 20 yards, the Denver defense plays well. It is the deep ball where they are suspect. Brady's ability to throw the deep pass has diminished considerably and has become a possession QB. Denver will handle Brady and company just fine.
The Patriots have been mediocre at best on the road this year going 4-4. All 4 wins against losing or .500 teams. (Bill, Falcons, Texans and Ravens). Their losses (At Jets, Bengals, Panthers, and Miami) were against 2 winning teams and two .500 teams. Bottom line; The Patriots have not beaten a winning team on the road this year and were not dominate in any road game. Going into Denver will be, by far, their toughest environment this year.
The weather is perfect for old man Manning. This focused Broncos team will dominate this game from kickoff to the final whistle

Prediction: Broncos 41 Patriots 23

NFC write up shortly to follow

CLEEEEAR!!

Seattle -4 Win
The first thing that jumps at me is the fact that 60+% are on the Niners yet the line held at 3.5 all week and now, on game day, has jumped to 4. The odds makers could have easily set the line at 3 or even 2.5 and that would have gotten a very even 50% split on the game. It seems as if they are enticing San Fran money. The common opinion is that this will be a low scoring tight game that ends in a FG either way.

This is San Fran's 4th road game in a row!! The 4th being in the loudest, most difficult stadium in the NFL where they have had their troubles. The Niners have lost 4 of their last 5 their and with Russell Wilson, they have lost the last two games by a combined score of 71-16! If the Forty Niners had a bye week or a WC home game even, I would give them more consideration. Yes, SF is the hot team right now, but this is simply to tall of a task to ask of them.

The Saints came out to play last week. During the 1st quarter especially, they were hitting hard, running hard and moving the ball. However, every time, the Seahawks found a way to stop the Saints and goose egged them in the 1st half. That was a very good offensive team! Seattle plays on a different level at home. They will not be denied today.

Prediction: Seattle 27 San Fran 13
