7/8 tips.....one ****ing stupid, poor, bottom of the ladder team that can't hold a 37 point lead!! (Imagine picking those duds!)


Haven't seen much footy at all yet......Spent the weekend at the home town....but my word am I paying a massive price for it now!!

Bombers game was great on sunday. Somewhat suprised to see them come out with a victory but by no means complaining. Even though the eagles lost it is easy to see why they have been so dominant so far this year. The bulk of their players sit around their half back line leaving tremendous amounts of space between them and their goal and so as soon as the opposing team turns it over, Wirrupunda etc. who nobody can run down have got all the room and time in the world to pass the footy and it is obviously very effective for the forwards as they have a ton of room to lead in to. This is one reason why they play so well at home on a bigger ground. Very good looking side. Don't know how many of you guys have been to colonial, but it is a great place to watch footy. See what this week brings!

Bomber

I'll be heading down to Colonial Stadium this Friday night to see Jason McCartney play his first game back, since being almost killed in the Bali bombings. Should be an emotional ol' game for my Rooboys. Hopefully it'll have the 'fairy-tale ending'.

The thing I like best about Colonial is how close to the action you can get at the front rows. The players can hear every bit of abuse that you spray at 'em!!!!

Bloody fantastic place to watch footy, with one execption:

The 4 drink limit!!! Last time I went we were a group of 5......very, VERY bloody annoying let me tell you!

As for the 'front row' situation, last game 2001, Dogs v. Melbourne, just happened to be walking around the ground having a look when Jeff Farmer was being his dirty little self so I ran to the fence to give him one of those affore-mentioned sprays.
Unfortunately for me I didn't take a lot of notice because I was right in the middle of the Melbourne cheer-squad!!!!
Had to get escorted out of there by security "for my own safety"

That's a classic Mr C. Spraying Farmer in the middle of the dees cheer squad and all. Not too many other people you would rather throw some abuse at either as he is a cheeky little prick. Pawa, have a good time on friday night mate. Should be a ripper of a game. Picking your boys to get up as it should be a 50/50 type game and I hate the tigers with a passion! Like you said, McCartney's return should get the boys fired up to. Have a good time down there mate. Just wish I could join you.
