DON'T:facepalm:

As I stated a week ago, and if you disagree, feel free to discuss:

1 - They cannot stop anyone - Bama should have scored 70, Saban took it easy on Fooley.

2 - They don't care about Fooley or Buddy Hackett, Sal Stumpseri. In fact, the disdain is obvious. Look at the players quotes, "We are not worried about coach's jobs, we are just fighting for our teammates."

3 - Fooley asked for a full buyout after the Kentucky game last year? - This according to three sources close to mrsec.com, John Pennington. Pennington is on radio and tv here in Knoxville every week, so I am not saying this happened, but I would believe him over Fooley.

4 - Fooley will yank Bray after the first pick he throws.

5 - Fooley knows he is gone.

South Carolina had a bad game and a bad week. South Carolina is a good football team. Tennessee is done. I think the only team left on their schedule that they MAY beat, is Kentucky. I do not believe they will beat Troy right now.

Understand you cannot learn how to tackle in a week. You cannot learn how to cover receivers in a week. You cannot learn how to WIN in a week. They are awful and as every game passes, it will only get worse.

I don't care about stats, trends, etc. Those kinds of things go out the window at a certain point.

If you take the Vols, :nono:

Somewhere Southern
While I really appreciate and trust your opinion, I have to go the other way on this one as long as it's +14 or higher, if I play it at all.

My reasons...

1. This is the game that could dictate Derek Dooley's future in Knoxville. Every Vol fan and their brother wants Dooley down the road in the Unemployment line, but a win at SC, just might save Dooley his job....they will have a legit chance of winning the rest of their games. THEY GUY HAS NOTHING TO LOSE!!!

2. The game is at Noon. Gamecocks get up for Home Night Games.

3. South Carolina is in shambles right now! You have a team that's lost two games in back to back weeks against top 5 teams and their fans are acting like they've had a second coming of 1999 and just gone 0-11 again! They are still a top 15 football team, but their fanbase's unrealistic dreams of winning the NC have sent them into a downward spiral!

4. Steve Spurrier is a Great Football Coach! And a great Football Coach, after losing two in a row and your team is down, will do whatever it takes to keep the spirirt of the team positive. That means, less Shaw, more Lattimore. If Spurrier doesn't get Latt 24+ touches against Tennessee, they'll be calling for his head next! More Latt equals more clock chewing which equals a lower scoring ball game!

4. South Carolina does not have a corner capable of shutting down Patterson one on one! Therefore, Safety help is going to be on that side of the field all night! With extra guys in coverage, SC will need more aggressiveness from their front 4......SCREEN, SCREEN, SCREEN!!! That and over the middle routes to the TE!

5. It's SOUTH CAROLINA!!! The team best known for going from #6 to 6-6!!! Halfway through the season they had climbed to #3 and IMO will finish 8-4 or 9-3!

VOLS all day....+14

The clock doesn't run very fast when you give up touchdown runs of 50+ yards:facepalm:

me and Brent looked at each other and smiled when the Vols kicked that meaningless FG to make it 44-13 ... except it DID mean "something" :mj07:

5 - Chizik knows he is gone.

Auburn is done. I think the only team left on their schedule that they MAY beat, is Alabama A&M. I do not believe they will beat NewMexico State right now.

Not saying that there were some breaks in there, but those players are fighting for themselves, make no mistake. Me thinks this just delays the hammer coming down for another week or two.

As painful as this loss was to these players, coaches, and the UT fan base; as the old saying goes, "You are what your record says you are."

Again, good hit, I split and if it has to split; I want want it this way with the game going over.
