holy chit, the prices are getting higher. been waiting for sales but not looking good.

any known deals from any of the airlines?

ace, you might know better for me. i can leave bwi, dulles, nat'l etc.

prefer non-stop but might have to be more flexible this time considering the fares i'm pulling up.

thanks in advance.

I panicked and grabbed mine last week because I saw the same trend. Could have had a non-direct (one-stop) for $250 but paid the additional $50 for a direct flight. I didn't think $300 direct on Delta was too bad.

best i found from bal is 271 with either an atl stop or den stop. not too bad, i guess, but was hoping for 230 or less. non-stop is over 400. sheese. maybe southwest will be cheaper but they don't have feb 2004 on their site calender yet. i hate that airline anyway.

thanks

i'll be looking everyday starting now and might even call an agent this time to see if they can help.

I've been checking these for you guys. Jack, you're right, fares for you are pretty crappy. You might want to confirm that $271.00 price. Best I've found is $291.00 from Reagan on USAir. This is Thursday thru Monday.

Mr., check with United Airlines. I see a fare from Winnipeg to Vegas for $478.14 per person. I'm checking Jan 29-Feb 2.

If you're going out Friday and returning Monday, Northwest is best at $516.00 per person.

Not sure what dates you guys are looking at.

I'll check back.

On the course!
Shit......$271 doesn't seem too bad! I paid $245 from Milwaukee on Midwest, and got the tix TWO months ago!

270ish is the best I see- I found 217 on AirTran but you'd be goin through Atlanta both ways and the return flight is a red-eye- not worth the aggravation to save an extra 60 bucks IMO

Jack I havent even started looking yet but I know the fares have been absurd lately. Not sure what my travel is going to be like so I cant jump on anything yet, someone suggested to me that they called to cancel their Amex and they were offered two companion tickets to stay. Basically a buy one get one free on Continental. Anyway, I will drop you an email when I run into a good fare. Personally I hate Southwest and would rather pay to not fly them. Last year I went nonstop out of National then through Phoenix on the return. How far are you from Pittsburgh, is it closer than National?

thanks for the help, guys. i usually get RT for less than 250. oh well, it's not too much higher. i think i'll keep checking around and wait up till about 1 more month. i'm 2 hours from pit but pit is usually, at least, 100 more RT then bal (2.5 hours away). and, i hate usair more than i hate southwest.

I was getting ready to say something about comps. Hell, you're bringing 75 strong this year if not more. But then there's Senor stepping up and pulling the strings!:D

I took southwest air lines ONCE out of baltimore..................ONCE and never again . It was like the welfare plane from hell ..........................:D

on top of it my husband and I really never fight "rarely"maybe once a year if that. I wanted to kill him that day! and had to fly that welfare plane for 5 freakin hours home from vegas smashed up against a window and him ............LOL and then drive 2 more hours home NEVER AGAIN!!!!

We payed $437.00 round trip per person this year non stop which was high , but its better than turning a 5 hour flight into 7 or 8 NO WAY ................ the rest of the people coming paid $279.00 with 1 layover so what ever you can deal with ...........

Jack its just a shame that we can't fly together I make a mean drink :D they tend to make travel a little easier :D
