Have watched it twice Scott. I found it very interesting. Covered a lot of ground in only an hour. Glosses over the history of the series in the first 15 minutes and mainly focuses on the 2009 & 2010 seasons.

I enjoyed it. Painful to watch $cam Newton but otherwise I give ESPN an A for effort. They could have made this a good 2-3 hours longer and still not covered everything in this rivalry.

I had my girlfriend watch this with me so maybe she could understand the rivalry of this game better and to also understand why I am so passionate about the Tide.

Updyke is a head case for sure and definitely a fringe fanatic. I can't even listen to Finebaum anymore. Talk about a guy that stirs the shitpot. Everyone in the state hates him but my guess is at least half of the radios in Alabama are tuned in every afternoon from 2-6.

A funny side story: when they interviewed the two married couples and the younger wife (an Auburn fan) commented she hoped that Alabama lost the national championship game to Texas, my girlfriend turned to me and said, "Really? How can that guy have married such a cunt?"

Proud to say my girlfriend is officially an Alabama fan.

Roll Damn Tide! :00hour

Brent, I hope you treat people you know from Auburn better than these idiots on this show, I know you do, seems ridiculous to act like that. I live in Texas and ATM/Texas is a huge rivalry. great show I have to say...puts things into perspective

Nope ... he doesn't :mj07:

I was disappointed they gave nutcase Updyke that much airtime ... once just to show the intense emotions and how far some go but not keep coming back 4-5 times ... and wanted to name his daughter Ally Bama:mj07:

thought they should have least give props to Toomers for Tuscaloosa and the great relief efforts they did for the tornado relief :0074

From an outsider's perspective, it would have been a better film if they dealt more on the buildup of the rivalry through the years instead of glossing over it like RollTide previously mentioned.

Most anyone that is watching is probably aware of what has gone on in the last 2 years.

and from an insiders view ... I agree :0074

Even tho I know A LOT of the history, I wanted to see more of it and maybe some things I didnt know ... even my old ass can remember everything the last 2 years especially with how much hype the media plays these day.

Texas and ATM are huge rivals here in Texas, the owner of the company I work for is a Longhorn and the next in line is an Aggie, they get along fine...Its no big deal, hell, my dad is a Longhorn and pulls for the Aggies when they don't play the Longhorns and one of his best friends is an Aggie, they get along great, its all about perspective. Taking sports too seriously, life is so much more important. :0003

The part about Bear Bryant was good. That man was feared. I am an outsider as I have some friends that are from Alabama and they always pull for Bama.

Auburn/Alabama people are crazy...poisoning trees and crazy shit...

Bo Jackson was the best athlete I have ever seen by the way. He and Deion Sanders.
