Honestly I was sweating that when the clock had 4 + minutes left.

I could see Kentucky getting the ball back and Alabama playing deep zone and the wager goes down in flames.

That was closer than I care to watch. Serveral times in the game when Kentucky could have covered it.

I am disappointed in the Alabama team Rolltide.

I think they played like ass in the first half . Does being on a away field have that affect on them ?

I have concerns about them in several areas with some big games coming up.

Believe me Scott... we didn't leave the Stadium until the game was over. Figures I had to sweat this one to the very end.

When we got back to our truck, I told my friends that a win is a win, especially on the road in the SEC, but... I felt very unsatisfied. If we had played anyone else today... I don't think I would have enjoyed the results. Hopefully Coach Saban can use this to motivate the boys this week.

They need to get the ship righted with a trip to Oxford, MS up next and then visits from South Carolina and UcheaT in the next few weeks.

Glad I hit both games... missed on the totals, but that's ok.

I was at the game and with less than 3 minutes to go and down 3 scores, Brooks decides to call back to back timeouts to stop the clock and trying to get the ball back. Saban decided to teach him a lesson. With UK out of timeouts, 'Bama got the first down and UK didn't get the ball back until there was less than a minute to go in the game. I thought it was a great call.

This game had a very eery feeling to me in that
first quarter particularly. Alabama seemed stunned.

I couldn't figure out exactly what it was that was affecting them. Could it have been Kentucky hearing all the press all week, and stepping up the defense so they transfixed into Florida ?

Thankfully Alabama snapped out of it. Its been awhile since I had the feeling the play might lose after the first quarter.

Rolltide is right on with his assessment that Brooks stopped the clock to get the ball back , 3 scores down.

1. The coach had the +16 ? the dirty bastid ?
2. He wanted to show a never die attitude ?
3. Hartline was trying to tie a interception record
4. His offensive line needed the work ?

Whatever the reason, Saban spanked him and rightfully so. Its funny the suttle things that take place in a game that the public never knows about. When you see a coach refuse to cross the field and shake hands , then you know something
underhanded has taken place during the game.

Oh well a win or a loss is just like your ass.
