First I saw it at Tex -13.5 and it went down to 10.5 quickly. Its since went back up to Tex -11.5.
Personally, I think Iowa wins this game outright. After a dissapointing season this is the one team Iowa can get up for in this game...Texas was thinking BCS just a few weeks ago and now is in the Alamo Bowl against Iowa...

That premise SOUNDS good. Truth is this is NOT a good football team. Getting people back will help but the timing won't be there. Add the Texas D to the mix and you could see the same score as 20 years ago 55-17, only Iowa on the short end.

Easiest bet on the board this bowl season is this game...
Texas - whatever and it doesn't matter who plays QB for them, either. I saw Iowa play in person 10 times out of their 12 games and this is the worst collection of non-talent that Ferentz has had since re-building the empty cupboards left when Hayden stepped down.
Iowa can not stop the run and has no speed at all on defense. There is talk that Adam Shada will be able to play, and if thats the case watch how many times that stiff gets burned deep by the speedy Texas receivers.

maybe I overlook how bad iowa really is but I just don't see how texas shows up for this game. then again, texas probably doesn't even need to show up to win the game...
Texas is not at all happy to be there. i am very surprsied at the high ticket sales.
There is pretty strong innuendo that McCoy will not play. Snead is out so that means the Senior walk-on who can barely hand-off, or using a guy like Quan Cosby because he played QB in high school. Texas OL just hasnt been good enough to push people around. Lost DC and the pass D has been bad all year.
