NJO, very interesting point. Ive seen the play clock in pro football not go to 0 as the ball is snapped, but a team is called for delay. I realized as bad as the officials can be, that it must not be precisely tuned to the real time.
Also, you will see the clock running, when it has been stopped by the officials, then it will suddenly jump back up. (while the officials never direct the real play clock to be changed)
PT, I wasnt watching, but it sounds like your beef was with more than a fraction of a second or an extra run. Was it one of those things where the clock starts late and stops early?
