I have a lot of cousins in Paris. Fortunately, I've heard from all of them that they are OK and none of this occurred around where they live. Although, one of my cousins said she knew multiple people in that theatre. This whole situation is very sad.
Hard to believe they continued to let the soccer game play out as the explosions occurred outside. It may have been for the best, as letting fans out into the chaos occurring outside may have resulted in more injuries/death.

I'm saying I don't believe everything force fed to me by the media. I said I don't believe in the elaborate hoaxes. My point is that I like to research and form my own opinions. This was a tragedy obviously, and I hope it is resolved soon. However, I also hope that our civil liberties are not infringed on anymore than they already have been in the name of safety and protection.

I was assessing the recent so called "TERROR" attacks in Paris last night and began to ponder some questions....
Why are these attacks not coordinated against infrastructure such as the electric utility grid, railroads, nat gas pipelines, or port facilities, etc.?
Why are these attacks not carried out against the body politic, politicians, military officers or the police?
Why are these attacks not aimed at the banks, bankers, stock markets & traders and the wealthy?
If this is a religious war, an Islamic Jihad against the West, then why are these attacks not levied against the churches & synagogues?
The really big ? is who and where does the financing for these organized operations derive from? If the capitalization is received from oil revenues, who is buying & transporting the oil? Is it supposedly beyond the Western energy monopolies, various spy agencies and economic powers to terminate the sales & transportation of this oil when in fact they do possess a stranglehold on most of the world? A stranglehold that deters dejure nations!
Are we really to believe that such sales & transport of oil is taking place in a vacuum? Are we really to believe that the financiers of these operations possess the ability to move millions of dollars, euros, yen, etc. to purchase the armaments required to conduct very expensive ongoing ground attacks & destabilizations? Who is selling these organizations the weapons & ammunitions to the Jihadists, etc.? Are we again to believe that the selling & procurement of the weaponry is occurring in a vacuum? That the various intelligence agencies do not know who the various international arms traders & sellers are? That these agencies do not possess the means of gathering info on these traders and their sales & transport operations?
There are many other targets that could be utilized in the West to effectively disrupt the Western way of life. Lets face the facts that western culture and reliance upon the various systems & institutions creates a target rich environment for destabilization of the population to gain maximum effect.
Yet none of these options are utilized by these criminals that are titled terrorists. If they can smuggle guns & ammo into a political jurisdiction such as France, surely they can smuggle compact high explosives to damage necessary infrastructure, yet they do not.
The common civilian citizen is targetted, which in reality is a very low value target compared to say electrical stations, judges, politicians or even police assets....
Cui Bono? Why would the so called terrorists target the general population, enraging them into a want for Jihadi blood and revenge killings against the European Muslim community? Seems that the assault on the common people would be iniminical & highly destructive to their interests....
Whoever is behind these attacks evidently doesnt seek to create long term financial damages by attacking the infrastructure... let the people of Paris be denied electricity for 2 or 3 weeks followed by endless attacks on the grid would cause much greater damage than a mass suicide murder of 100 people.... This is terrible. I have many friends and clients in France. I just emailed them all wishing them the best and checked in with them. I should have done it sooner, sort of disappointed in myself that I didn't.

Had a close friend from Liverpool call me yesterday. He said the media over there are not evening bringing up the issue of the West's policy in the ME. Totally silent on the stated reasons these monsters gave for their actions.
But I think there are at least some similarities between the ISIS issue, and say, the IRA atrocities in the 70's and early 80"s, which I lived through. And the PLO attacks of the same period.
Calling it WWIII is preposterous though. As awful as the plane bombings and this Paris attack was, in terms of total of people killed and injured, its minuscule. Hopefully, it won't get worse and we can track down and kill those who assisted. But the media buying in to the whole "WWIII" thing is only going to lead to the permanent curtailment of more of our rights under the constitution. Think Rupert Murdoch and Ombama share the same fundamental world view? I assure you they do.

There is some statistic that (approx) 20 people have been killed in the in US and 40 injured in terrorist attacks since 9/11. And how much money has been spent from 9/11 until now. Two ways to look at this I suppose?1. The money was well spent since the casualty count has been so low?..2. What an amazing loss of liberty, basic freedoms, constitutional rights, and taxpayer money has occurred since 9/11. Does anyone seriously believe that we are ever going to declare the "War On Terror" over and disband The Homeland Security Dept? And The Patriot Act!!! What happened to Jefferson's concept of "the tree of liberty needs to be watered regularly with the blood of patriots"? Only 1 senator had the guts to vote against the Patriot Act?Paul Wellstone?.dead in a mysterious plane crash years later. The Patriot Act may be the single worst piece of legislation EVER passed in this great nation.
Final point; I also feel totally disgusted when the US accidentally bombs a hospital or wedding party in some far off land. This happens quite often and no one ever seems to be held accountable for it. I knows its not a moral equivalency, since the US is not actively trying to kill innocent people like ISIS is, but you have to believe this total disregard for the lives of completely innocent human beings is in itself, very similar.
