yes that was a steal

the dodgers wouldn't be where they are today without saito. no one will ever pitch the way gagne did for 3 years. what he did will never be duplicated. especially not by him. he's basically done. saito is a nice find and is very capable, but definitely no gagne of old. don't forget the started the year with danny baesz as their closer:mj07:

re-read the post. i said basically done. he'll never be what he was in the past. too many surgeries and arm problems. i hope he proves me wrong. similar to kerry wood and mark prior with their arm injuries, pitchers rarely recover to their previous form. again, i hope he proves me wrong. favorite dodger in the last decade.
