Maybe my brain is still farting but your explanation still has me confused.
I know this game can't/won't end in a tie but what does that matter? Are you saying that if Pinnacle used a 1.5 PL that it would end in tie?
My point was, Pinnacle NEVER puts a 1.5 PL out even on games like Wings vs Pens. They only use 0.5 and ML. Soooo, I was curious as to why they would've used 1.5 yesterday.
ummm infini.....if a game can not tie then +0.5 and -0.5 are useless. It is the exact same as a moneyline
only point in putting up a point spread for this game would be a +1.5 or +2.5 or whatever :tongue
bottom line.....if a hockey game can not tie then having a point spread of +0.5 or -0.5 is absolutely useless.....the moneyline odds would be the exact same as +0.5 and -0.5.
