We actually had a conversation at a bar the other night about which singer/band would you most like to knock off (not up -- strangelove!)

I had a tie for #1 between Barbara Streisand and Mariah Carey.

Don't base this on political reasons--merely on what they have contributed to their industry.

All I got to say is...Bee Gees...2 down and 2 to go!!! ;)

...now, someone bring me the head of Barry Manilow.

Tao, counselor to the Goddess', I'm tellin ya, someone has stolen my avatar and is postin under my name. Just a few weeks ago, this imposter posted a bunch of nice crap under my name. Tryin to ruin my rep.

Anyone who knows anything about music must agree that 96 tears is the most meaningful, life-altering song ever written. That repeating organ chord sends shivers up and down my spine.

The real Eddie

Tom Petty whole album is awesome, especially free falling (I love that song)

"I will always love you" is another good one. Reminds me of my friend.

Sure I am in the minority but "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen has always bugged the sh*t out of me and there are songs by them I like. Second one is "Aqualong" (Or however that crap is spelled) by Jethro Tull. Sitting on a park bench, snot running down my nose, me bashing your head with my 3 wood after going crazy hearing that song.

Taoist....

F you. Making fun of someone who died is not funny. Besides that you stole your line from Denis Leary. So besides being an insensitive jerk you're also an unoriginal thief.

kickserv,

WTF are ya talking about? McFerrin's alive and well....LOL. :p
But really, the man has unbelievable talent. While "Don't Worry Be Happy" may not be everybody's cup of tea, his work has transcended many genres of music. An acapella maestro, he has a four-octave range, and his work has spanned the worlds of pop, jazz, and even classical (he's an accomplished classical conductor). Most of all, he's done a lot for music education, especially children.
