let this be your lesson. No game is over until the final tick of the clock, not even TB up by 3 tds in the 4th quarter. Save the kudos and back patting until the money is in your account. I saw several on here whooping it up early about their Bucks win.

I agree , you and I both know it to be a fact. This pursuit is a roller-coaster ride. I had the OVER in the game where Robin Ventura hit a grand slam and only touched first base. I went from a losing ticket to a winning ticket back to a loser when all Robin wanted to do was celebrate after touching first and driving in the winning run.


To celebrate early is a clear example of ones lack of experience in sports wagering.

fortunately, i learned early on in my gambling career, so thankfully it was a ridiculously bad beat, but only for small change.
im to the point now where when i write my bets down, i wont even put a check or an X next to the game until its final and graded at my book. to take it a step further, i wont even mentally add up in my head what i "could" be up if said game ends up being a winner. especially in the nfl. too many backdoor, chokes, hail mary passes, etc.

I can't believe I am reading such mularky. You call a ticket as soon as your team gets the lead or as soon as something starts to go your way. Period. Exclamation point.

What good is it to wait and have all of that stress and worry when you can call a game early? I know we all love the "action" of it all, but at some point it becomes too much. When you call a game at halftime or preferably, earlier, you save yourself all that heartache.

I never told anybody to shut up, and I never used any profanity. I made a general comment which was not directed specifically at you, but rather at all those who are calling NFL games fixed. I also made a general comment about winnings posted on message forums because all such winnings (and losses) are alleged.

I don't know who is less intelligent, those who think that some yahoo celebrating before the game is over influences the outcome of the game, or the conspiracy theorist who feel every game they lose is rigged.
