hats off to osu does not really bother me to much to say that any other big 10 team besides penn.st and iowa i am ok with props also have coaching ties to all 3 . would of liked for the big east to win it again but from what i saw in the first because i went to bed been down for a few weeks had a accident in pa so go to bed early so i can get work done before i take meds in the am and afternoon. osu was more prepaired did not see all the yelling about the ot and bad call, thats gambling talk not sports talk.
from being a college and pro coach i can tell you 1 bad call does not cost you a game i am sure i will hear all kinds of stuff on that statement but it is true and i would say 90% of the coaches ask would say the same thing.
there are things that happen in a game that cost you more then 1 call.poor excuation,lack of being ready. in fb losing the battle of the lines been around coaching and playing much longer then what i do know have 2 rings to show for it d1 and d2 ws ring university tampa d2 and fl d1 as asst coach. so i bad call does not make a game also have family members who coached and coach d1 all their life so bad calls are for the bettor not the coach.
yes i have seen poor calls as a coach but if game was lost i could show you 5-6 reasons why we lost and i can tell you osu had great deff stunts on the line in the first half that miami could not handle blocking,cains were lucky and i love miami that osu did not go for fg 1 time and missed 1 they were out played cry all you want i lost the game but it was not do to 1 play it was a lot of things. another thing cains could not run that was do to stunts to many guys coming and cains did not hold blocks,here is another shifts on deff front and line backers gave doresy false reads so results int. line stunts and poor pass blocking made doresy rush lot of throws. backs not picking up blitz for dorsey more mistakes.pentleys early when they had osu stoped 2 times gave them first downs. osu special teams were better punter was great and that was what i saw in first half.
to be the best you have to beat the best and osu did it on the field so they are the best till someone knocks them off just like i fought with many of you this year with miami.
