Boise St -10 over ECU ****** strong play

Spent so much time on this game and one thing keeps coming up in my mind over and over.It has nothing to do with stats,records,predictions,etc. It has to do with my son who is a senior at ECU and what he said.Now he knows this team inside out.That doesn't mean inside information,etc.He has had classes with many,knows several players,etc...he loves Johnson there top rb who has over 16 td's.
But ECU has one big weakness..it's defensive secondary..and the line that haunts me is what my son said a few weeks ago. Our DB's couldn't find there dorm rooms after a game.

Box jr's breakdow...QB.Kass and Pickney..advantage is one can run and the other can pass.Holtz can bench one and go with the hot hand..
RB... Johnson, the fastest,deceptive,compact,scorer..his greatest gift..he can catch anything out of the backfield...great hands...
OL line -very strong...we never turn the ball over.Good protection..open holes...
DL -avg-good..look great sometimes and other times teams roll all over us...
LB's.. I like them..hit hard...then can stop the run..poor in pass coverage.
Secondary..weak...poor reads..beaten so many times..get faked out...even teams with weak passing games feast on us...
Holtz..coach.. we love.If skip wins today he's gone to another school..if he loses today he could be gone.Will have a few trick plays.
Box jr...what do you know about Boise St? "nothing,except loved lyrs OU-Boise game.
Who wins todays game? ECU of course...

I agree with you on this one Box. I live in Greenville and I am a huge ECU fan, but just don't see how they can hang with Boise.

Conversation with Box sr to box jr....
"son,why do you think ECU will win"? Our offense is explosive..Holtz will have these guys prepared...he has instilled in them that going to Hawaii is great but winning there is more important.No one is celebrating were going to hawaii and thats fine.We are focused,Johnson will get the ball inside-outside and there will be many passes to him in the backfield.."If they stop johnson were dead."

Boise is loaded.Lost only 2 games..Wash and Hawaii .Top wr suspended.Johnsons ankle is hurting.Some Db's are out,etc But this team plays in the WAC and we all know these guys play some offense.Boise avg 475 yds per game-thats 10th in the nation...they are 5th in scoring...Peterson as coach in 2 yrs has a 23-2 record.If Holtz has some gimmick plays wait until tonite.who can ever forget lys OU game..statue of liberty,etc. Boise defense is not bad and has held a few teams to under 1 TD.But there offense is so explosive even without some of its stars.They have one commom opp..So Miss.. ECU lost at home to them 21-28 amd Boise won 38-16.
Throw in all the other factors in the pot.The rainbows have been working out with them all week.Boise excluded from BCS,WAC team,etc
ECU is in trouble big time...Boise will get 45-55 pts..ECU maybe 21...over could be a good play..but ECU is very inconsistent.A few weeks ago ECU can clinch the Conf USA title and they go to Marshall and get beat 26-7..lose the conf to one of the worst teams...Boise offense should dominate this game..ECU will not be able to stop them.
Box Jr....I know you think ECU will win...would you like to put some hawaiian money on that..." no dad..our db's can't find there hotel rooms either... GL to everybody
