Am I a sucker for loving LSU?

I realized the line is already inflated due to the media blowing LSU and USC but 17.5 still seems low

Miss St. is horrible, they will score 3 at the most vs this LSU D. And I don't see problems for the 5th year senior Matt Flynn.

I think it could easily turn into a blow out

But no one else likes them so I am wondering why?

i am just telling you my philosophy...it doesn't mean that you should follow it...

i never bet a double digit & very rarely bet any road favorite in college football.....especially road favorites in conference play.

however i have noticed that well respected cappers at the various forums bet lsu..but i have also seen well respected cappers taking the dog.

so for me i have no play on this game...

hope this didn't confuse you...:142smilie

I honestly think Miss St is the play or don't bet it...I'm not on it at all...because every on the field factor is ADV LSU...and every off the field factor is ADV Miss St...

Don't like it at all

The line has dropped to 17.5 for a reason and I think it wiill drop to 17. LSU has a great D but I don't think there offense is as good as everyone thinks especialy with a inexperienced QB. I see LSU winning by 14 with Miss St scoring enough to get the cover.

If you look at Miss st last 3 games they played very well.

I happen to think so. Would not make a play with them or against them, breaking in a new QB and offensive system...................thats just alot of points to lay on the road! Living in New Orleans, I got a good beat on LSU. There are better spots on the board.

no one else likes them. what?

that's wildly incorrect. the betting public LOVES LSU!

i see a number of cappers on MissSt, dont get me wrong. But there are still many more bettors on LSU

LSU has outscored Miss St 250-43 in the last 6 matchups. Average margin of about 35. I don't see that changing that much. If the line was around 24 I'd be a little more nervous.

A lot of people are saying they like Miss. St. because they think LSU doesn't want to show much before next weeks VT game. Well I think LSU can cover this line without showing anything. All they will show is they have superior players at every position and VT already knows that. All LSU has to do is play straight up football and they should cover this line easy. I don't see them downing the ball three times and then punting every time they get the ball after they get up two scores. They will keep pouring it on, not because they need to, but because they can. I think the only way Miss. St. stays close is if they are inspired and have the games of their lives while LSU comes out flat

Anyway just my opinion.

Good Luck

If I had to take this game, I would be wearily taking the road favorite. Just far too superior everywhere on the field.

I forgot to mention, no one on MJ's seems to like LSU your right the public is all over LSU

Sam Bone I agree on both accounts
They will scale back for the more important game next week and they can still cover the line with out showing much.

But what I am not taking into account (enough at least) is the off the Field adv is def Miss st

again thanks for the opinions guys
keep them coming
