TRAP OF THE YEAR:shrug:

I guess I just don't see it or get it. How can Denver be fav even if they are at home going with a 10th string QB in Kanell and all the other injuries. Yes they have Portis, but NE "D" is outstanding against the run and they still have the possiblity of doing some scoring with Brady at QB albeit not playing as well as a couple years ago, he sure in hell is better than Kanell.

Call me stupid, guillible or falling for the trap, but I CAN NOT IN GOOD CONSCIENCE BET DENVER TONIGHT.

If this is a trap, they already got me.

Going big on NE and hope the hell Brady brings his "A" game and the "D" shuts down Portis.

PS I know after saying all this, Danny Boy will play like an All American tonight and screw me to the wall:D

Dont think Ive gone from disappointed to happy as many times in one game as this one. I had NE +2.5, game under, 2nd half under. That safety put the double wammy on me and then to come back and score a TD was something. ended -1u

Congrats on a win. I was going to say we have a break of a day or two, but just remembered I think there is College foots on tomorrow. I might be tempted to take the night off lol

Thank Shanahan with under 4 minutes left throwing the ball twice on one drive and then again once more on the next drive stopping the clock 3 times and letting the Pats save their time outs.they run the ball and force NewEngland to burn their time outs and they run out of time.Denver deserves to lose with shithead decisions like that

I know skill, I was bouncing off the walls up and down. Tomorrow my alma mater plays Miami, Oh, got to play it.

Know what you mean sick, it seems like I have been on the Den side way too many times this year, really needed this one.

To everyone on Denver, believe me I know how you feel, this was just one of those flip a coin games and all of us on the pats got lucky tonight, but some times luck has to fall on your side.

Hopefully we'll all get 'em next week.:D

Shanahan has now screwed up 2 games this year with tonights loss and the loss to Kansas City when he punted to Dante Hall. Tonight was one night where the D had to step up and they just didnt get the job done. Everyone always praises what a great coach Shanahan is but he has maybe been 1 game above .500 since the departure of John Elway....He had the same kinds of stupid decisions last year against Miami and Indy.......I am beginning to believe he is just an average coach at best.

I'd like to believe that, but I really do feel the correct side prevailed tonight. The Denver D was lucky IMO to keep the Pats to only 30. Their secondary has to improve a lot or they won't have a sniff of the playoffs this year. The Pats DID have to endure far more than their fair share of penalties. Broncs got some gift points too (kick returned for a TD, safety, etc).

Really, the whole game it felt like Denver was just barely hanging on and New England was in control. Or at least that's how it felt sitting here with money on the Broncos.

It would have been interesting to see if the outcome would have been any different had Elam not gotten hurt. Punting instead of attempting a 50 yd FG in the thin air up there...you'd never see that decision made with Elam in, but they had no choice. That backup kicker looked really shaky, even on PAT's.

No sour grapes here, NE was the right side all the way. The way they've been playing, compared to the way Den has been playing of late, plus all the injuries, etc... I am just kicking myself because I don't know how I capped this game and thought Denver was the side. They just teased everyone for most of the game. Congrats Pats backers.

I was a denver backer last nite and i blame this loss on the friggin genius m. shanahan.

twice den. had the ball inside ne. 35 in the 4th quarter. portis singlehandedly had driven them to this spot both times. at this point shanahan decides to pass and both instances they end up with 3rd down and 3 or 4. at this point he needs to say im going for the 3 yards needed with 2-runs. you have no kicker or qb....the run game had been dominate till then. so u run the fukin ball 2-times and get the 1st down. you possess the ball. you know your defense hasnt been able to stop ne. at all in the 2nd half. worst thing that can happen is you turn the ball over to ne. at their own 32, 33 yard line. thats not like your giving them ball at their 40-45 yard line. inside the 35 yard line is not the greatest
field position, most teams are happy to hold a team inside the 35 on a kickoff. so this idiot, shanahan decides to pass on 3rd down with a qb who is just hoping not to fuk up. then he punts the ball away....what a joke. the injury to elam hurt denver, but at that point the coach needs to step up and put the game in his offensive line/running backs hands. you control the ball like youve been doing and you go down and get points.
these coaches are so scared to screw up its pathetic....shanahan played not to lose and he got what he deserved.
one other instance when the not to lose approach cost denver the game......on the last drive, ne. had the ball 3rd down and 8 at
denvers 33 yard line......this is the biggest play of the game...denver goes into prevent/zone type defense and rushes 4-lineman.....they let brady stand back there for 5-seconds and he completes the pass over the middle for a 15 yard gain....game over....next play touchdown......why dont teams go after it defensively.....be aggressive and pressure the qb....that should be the call on 3rd and 8.....make him throw it quick and short...if they complete it , its probably short of 1st down....i dont know im just so sick of these pussy coaches and prevent or safe defensive calls.....

o well....was a game denver shouldve put in the hands of portis and gone onto victory.

ne. backers....congrats on the victory.
