or should not the Twins & Tribe sail over that 9 1/2?

Finley makes his debut after he was benched when he was supposed to pitch last Wednesday. His benching stemmed from a domestic violence order filed by his ole lady. Distractions should be easy to come by and the Twin's bats should benefit from this. I'd say his head won't be entirely 100% in the game with his problems back home. Finley was 8-7 last yr. with a 5.56 ERA.

Mays throws for the Twins, and he was shelled last week vs. the Jays. Didn't even make it to the fourth inning. With his lone start he's 0-1 with a 9.82 ERA. Mays pitched twice last yr. vs. the Tribe and was 0-2 with a 7.71 ERA.

In regards to both teams, the top #3 guys in their lineups are batting over 400%. All the starting players combined on both teams are nearly 300%.

I'm probably missin' a few things that would point towards an "UNDER" affair, but I damn sure couldn't find 'em. How bout any of you baseball experts?

So far, I've taken the 9.5 Over straight and then parlayed it with the Twins straight up....

Your logic sounds good, but let's take a second look. If Finley is like myself he will do what I did when things weren't going right at home. Dump all of your energy into your job. The way the media has torn him up with this thing, he needs to pitch well to stop the barrage. I myself give him a lot of credit for not hitting her back. If that would have happened it wouldn't have mattered what she did. All you would of herd was Chuck Finley the wife beater.

Looking a bit closer the players that beat up on Mays last year were Alomar, Gonzalez, and Thome. 2 of them are gone and Thome always starts out slow in April. Right now he is 4-26, batting .154 with no home runs and 4 RBI's.

The temp. has droped from 63 degrees to 43 degrees as of this writing. It is going down to 32 tonight. The winds are at 3 MPH NNW with 24 MPH gusts from the south. Don't think will see many wind blown HR's tonight.

Just a few thoughts to ponder

Good Luck tonight

Twins are not a good hitting team vs lefties. Can't see them putting up too much tonight.

Good luck today though.
