They were busy locally (all day) talking up how well the Cubs have done on this road trip and how successful it was REGARDLESS of todays outcome.

Is there a bit of a look ahead factor for teams in this successful spot? Finishing up a successful trip with a home stand on the horizen against a "weaker" opponent.

It just may have been the usual Cubs dump job as big chalks.
