Am I the only one on Nebraska?

I have a unit hanging out there right now that is just begging to get hedged off. Anyone want to talk me out of it? Took Neb ages ago and am thinking of flipping sides...

You're going with a QB that has no real game experience except time during Cornhusker blowouts and giving the other team over 3 touchdowns??? ASU isn't a great Pac 10 team, but this spread is a result of the Nebraska name/reputation only.

While I would tell you to take ASU and big, your first instinct is usualy the right one. The only small thing that worries me about ASU getting blown out is the turnover factor with a very young offense. Their defense will do just fine, but if they start turning the ball over they will be defending a short field all night. The weather will be "cool" around 78 but it will be humid but not nearly as brutal playing in Lincoln in the summer sun. The Devils will try to pass as much as possible; trying to exploit a shaky secondary minus DeJuan Groce. The Husker pass rush could be a factor. The line is falling as well, so you won't get as good of value that you did a couple of weeks ago. Even the under value is not as strong as it is around 54. As a Husker fan, there is nothing more than I would love to see than a 40 pt blowout but I dont' think it is in the cards with as weak as the NU offense figures to be early in the year.

One more tidbit

Just remember that NU has only scored 2 TD in 2 major scrimmages this year and that was vs. their scout team and they have allowed 16 sacks in those 2 scrimmages. I really only look for NU to win by 14 max. Good Luck!!!

Dnomyar you are right about one thing. I would rather stick to my initial call if there is a lack of overwhelming evidence to the contrary (sort of like an NFL replay) then change my mind and lose.
