Was going to start my own thread but I will just Hijack this one,
If I was a 11 again watching American Idol, I think Katherine McPhee would have just jumpstarted my puberty.
WOOOOOOOWWWWWWW was she hot or what tonight. She looks better every time I see her.
Oh and a side note did anyone see when Tori Spelling was standing in the audience and the caption at the bottom read "Katherines Freinds and Family" LOL Im sure her and Spelling are BFF.

I thought that maybe BDB would have chimed in by now, but maybe I will speak for him now.
Taylor Hicks has an absolute shoe in to win this thing. Never had been in the bottom. and has the "soul patrol" on his side with the votes.
But tonight , i do not agree with any of the judges.
Taylor did not do a song within his genre, that last song of his sucked , far to contempary for him.
I think that should have lost it for him.
McPhee did far better that him 2nite.and i am no fan of her's at all.
but based on 2nite , she deserves to win.

Had only watched a few episodes but if that guy wins the thing it will fully explain to me whay just about all music these days is crap and the average American is a waste of space.....50 million people watching and voting and they think he is good? 6 months ago he couldnt get people to pay 2 bucks to watch him in hick bars in Alabama...the Average Joe will buy into just about anything... taylor will be a vegas act in 5 years. he spent the last 10 in the backwoods of alabama playing local bars. nothing against the guy, but if he had it he would have been discovered by now. tv can really make you look good when they want to. i guess amusing to look at when on stage if you are easily amused but you don't see that on a cd, so i doubt his cds will sell, unless you like listening to michael mcdonald hits all the time.
thats about it. taylor floating in at a cool -600 now. i still have some futures of him and that a male wins, so not touching those. monetarily, i hope he wins and surely will, but from watching the show, the best talent as far as record sales left a couple weeks ago.

I can honestly say I have never watched this ridiculous show or any of the reality crap they are putting out these days.
Just my opinion and not denigrating anyone that watches, I just think these shows are ridiculous.

yea i guess i'll crawl back in my cave. hell try the history channel or discovery channel . its amazing what you can learn on those channels. i realize you gamble on that show but thats not why REALLY WATCH IT is it ? god forbid its the dumbing down of america
Dont know who wins nor care, but how is that Bama fool -600 when from what I read in today's paper first and second place last week were separated by 0.2%? It's not as if there is some scientific way for determining what is going to happen to the other guy's votes.
