Sanjay Malakar - He wanted to sing "Bathwater." She tried to get him to sing some 80's song. He said he was a big fan and he really wanted to do one of her songs. Gwen was upfront with him and told him she didn't think that he could pull it off but gave him the benefit of the doubt. Today after seeing rehersals were going, she didn't see any progress. She went to Nigel (shows producer) and told him she does NOT want Sanjay singing one of her songs whatsoever. Sanjaya didn't have many options at this point. He kind of got stuck with "Sunday Morning." This caused a big scene at the studio and was the talk all afternoon.
Sunday Morning is a Maroon 5 song.

Neither Melinda or Lakisha are going to win this thing if they keep singing stupid R & B songs. Yes they can sing, but they aren't gonna continue getting all the votes with these stupid song choices that appeal to gay men and 40 year old women. The demographics for idol are 14-40 year olds that listen to pop and rock and roll. Donna Summer doesn't count. STOP STOP STOP

Side Note.....sold off all of my futures. all of them and lost a little, but have more than made up for it with last longers and elimination.
I reformed my portfolio with:
100 shares of Jordin at 17
100 shares of Blake at 13
I think one of these two win and could possibly be the finale. Neither are going home tonight, so can reconsider after i see them.
