For my money, Katherine is the class of the field, talent-wise, but she picks some songs that don't really resonate with everyone. I think Elliot has the best voice of the males, but has no "it" factor at all. Chris absolutely has "IT" and has dodged the pop weeks superbly. Taylor is a blast but I think is one bad week from hitting the bottom, as is Paris (great presence and voice). Pickler will go in the next three weeks, I think, as she just does not have the pipes to compete all the way. I disagree with those who say the talent doesn't matter...the voters have been doing very well this year down the line, IMO. Appearance certainly is not a pre-requisite to making it to the end...look at some of the winners and finalists. What is important is to be able to perform with a heartfelt effort and to connect with the song and the audience.
I think we'll see Katherine and Chris in the final, and I really think it's a tossup. My two cents...
