I took Seattle -220 over Cleveland and Oakland to "upset" the yanks at +120

Both odds are at WSEX

I don't usually like laying so much wood but with Cleveland's pitching Sea should probably be a 4-1 or 5-1 favorite. Looks like a good bet.

I bet Oakland at 40-1 2 months ago and could have got the cards at about 20-1 but didnt bite. I wish I would have now. Hope the A's continue their torrid pace......

i got the cards at 20-1 a couple months ago.....i think they should be the favorites to come out of the NL.....as of now anyway...they seem to do well vs. the unit and schilling and I just don't see the dbacks hitting them

I actually don't think the Cards have a shot in this series let alone the pennant.
Arizona has the 2 best pitchers in the Playoffs going in the first 2 games, and Johnson willprobably pitch in game 4 (if necessary).
Arizona desn't have the offense that the Cards do, but I like the matchups either way (Johnson and Schilling vs Kile and Morris).

good luck

I've got Oakland at 40-1 for the series as well. A big problem for me since i'm a big mariner fan. Go A's!!!! haha

I'll hedge if Oakland ever gets put into a possible elimination game. I think they can put the yanks out in 4. I dont think i'll be that lucky with the mariners though.

I play A'a and Indians. Just a hunch on Cleveland..Seattle has not played a meaningful game in quite some time.
I got Houston at 40-1 in the spring. And AZ at 12-1 to win it a month in. Problem is I hate Arizona!

If your going to bet Seattle, then you are counting on suburb pitching. If it turns into a slugfest, Cleveland will bury them. If you all remember, When Cleveland played Seattle a couple of months ago, Seattle was up 14-2 GOING INTO THE 7TH AND LOST 15-14. If it comes down to hitting, only Oakland can match up with the Tribe. I'll lay off this one.
