American soldier beaten senseless by 12-15 Philadelphia thugs

An American soldier who was given a free plane ticket to come home for Christmas to see his sick mother was severely beaten by several thugs because he was wearing his Army jacket at local parade.
The soldier's dad recently died of cancer and he was home to see his mom before being deployed to Middle East. Now he is in the hospital with several months of recuperation ahead of him.
The local Philly paper is asking for help in finding the thugs. There is however no description of the cowards. Perhaps it is the large Amish or Mormon population in South Philly. Ever wonder why paper will not name the race of the thugs? Draw your own conclusions.
It is too bad he was not armed .

Yes the thugs were black . Mother and girlfriend were with him. Thugs were taunting him about his Army jacket per mother & girlfriend. They then beat him senseless.
Guess the thugs had some free time on their hands or the malls were closed to go flash mobbing a store.
On another note 4 black thugs beat white disabled teen and made him make a video denouncing Trump.
Doubt that this also will not both either of you. Of course if the perps were white and races black you would be writing 500 words responses.

Most of the military men I know would have seriously injured one or two of the perps before they went down. And I know one ex-soldier who could have taken all four of them out. Hell, even at my advanced age, at least one of them would have wished he'd stayed home if all I could do was bite off an ear.

So what did Mom and GF do? Call the police on their cell phones? Make photos of the perps along with their vehicle? Whip out their CC weapons? Gouge out an eye or two? Kick a few of them in the balls? Certainly the could have come up with some sort of weapon. A ball-point pen in an eye or neck would discourage them.

Hate crimes are crimes, and with a little info from Mom and GF, the cops will find these guys. And you can bet they'll "interview" them without tapes or witnesses.

And for your info, Dylann Roof is going to be executed for a hate crime. It has nothing to do with his race.

You point out two crimes in which the offenders were black and use that as a weapon to condemn the entire race as "thugs", which we both know isn't the word you really want to use. Yes 4 black youths kidnapped a white kid. All 5 are alive at present, now how many were killed by the lilly white poor misguided youths in Columbine, since we're talking about race? Sandy Hook?
