Ranking Misery in America

What makes these places the most miserable in America? To determine its annual list of woe, Forbes magazine weighs nine factors. Some are serious, like violent crime, unemployment rates, foreclosures, taxes, home prices and migration rates out of a city. Others are aggravating things in our daily lives: the weather and commuting times. Check to see if your city makes the countdown.

9. Lake County, Ill. - Lousy weather. falling home prices and hefty commute times lands this wealthy Chicago suburb on the Forbes list.

So, they lump a whole county into the list of Miserable Cities. Yeah, these rankings were done pretty thoroughly I'm sure.

He thinks there's white people there.

Actually Bobby it just takes a small amount of common sense and deductive reasoning to figure it out..

...and being an accountant who spends all day soliciting/groveling for high dollar clients.. and come 5 oclock.... swaps those tie and knee pads for a hoodie and heads down to closest occupy wall st protest and rants about the productive..

..doesn't really make you qualified :SIB

Grovelling and knee pads? You only have to do that when you're selling in a trade that you don't need skills. Like selling insurance.

Did you not enjoy your time in Chicago, Wayne? Not as much as your time in Rockford?

Agree, but some how bleacher report is one of the most popular sports websites.

Top 5 things about your comment:

1) The website is mediocre.
2) Their office is across the street from the building I work in.
3) Looks pretty cool.
4) They have a ping pong table.
5) There is a Chipotle downstairs.

Awesome! :0074

I was going to say some of the blame has to go to SportsCenter and their top 10 presentation that has warped the minds of the masses.
