Ok so the guy is going to fight an MMA dude in a cage. And he has no arms and he is "legless" and "armless". WHAT!!!!


Can you imagine actually being there and watch the cage door shut and you see the two fight. The fighter with the two arms and two legs might win, ya think....:rolleyes:


Stories like this make me want to :mj02:


Oh and I feel sorry for the guy who has to fight him. I mean why not throw a 95 year old lady in the cage while were at it. I mean what the fuck:scared

hmmm...

I have mixed feelings about this. I see no problem with him wrestling, but I don't see how he's not going to get absolutely killed in the striking department in an MMA match. What's to prevent his opponent from just kicking the chit out of ribs while he's laying there?? I don't see how he can protect himself.

I watched all of the Larry King, and he's truly inspirational. If he wants to fight, and somebody will fight him, I'm ok with it. Like u said though, kick, who would want to fight him? It's vaguely similar to the guys who have to wrestle against girls in high school.

hmmm, I'm with you 6.....very inspirational, but maybe misplaced energy or direction on his part:shrug:

I mean, I know im nobody to tell this guy what he should and shouldn't strive for, it just seems MMA is the wrong battle for this guy to fight. What are they going to do? Change the rules to suit this guys needs?

Serious question..... Im guessing he cant legally be kicked in the head b/c he's always going to be on his knees..? :shrug: (the American rule is you cant kick the head of a downed opponent)

Also, how is he going to be able to finish a fight? I cant imagine his striking will be effective and i doubt it's possible to submit anyone with no limbs.

Seems like it would be easy to choke him out, too....... :shrug: Not really possible to defend chokes without arms.........


If he wants to do it who am I to question him, but for the reasons above i think his MMA career will be a short one.

I don't even find this inspirational. You are disabled and your life goal is to find some way to unnaturally fight.

Why not use the parts of your body that weren't disabled at birth. Use your brain, etc.

Whoever sanctioned this fight should be kicked from MMA promotions and all official dealings...how in the hell!!!

Ok, I get it, but how in the hell can anyone say this is a fight. The dude standing up is basically defending himself from getting bit on the ankle.

Ridiculous, I could see motivating speaker, or business owner, but this is stupid.
