An 8 team parlay usually pays out about..

160 - 1 right?? I bet $5 and the payout was 375 and then I said to myself WTF after I submitted it.. That isn't right.. Should pay out $800 or so.. I know it has a great probabilty of not winning but I always like to play them ..Its just more for fun but I want the right odds.

I contacted customer support and I was pretty much told that it was my fault because I accepted the wager.. I AGREED and then I told them that I will no longer do business with a book that offers this low odds on an 8 team parlay.. You don't win many but it is a great feeling when you do. That is why I like them and I want to be paid what I should. Don't come out a head in the long run but it helps me be more disciplined bettting single games..

In Vegas almost ALL books do not give true parlay odds.


The reason why they do this is simple......90 percent of customers pay no attention.



And by the way if your parlay are all odds of -110 it should pay:


should pay 177.12 odds (176.12-1)

5 dollar bet should pay 885.60


your 5 dollar bet pays only 380.00:scared :scared

Are you sure? I just checked and saw Progressive Parlay at 75-1 and regular parlay at 175-1. I can't imagine they would pay the same since you are getting paid for losing a couple on the Progressive Parlay

My other book.. (not sponsored here) Is GREAT and they would of paid the 800 and something. I just signed up at this book for the minimum amount to check it out.

But if you have an 8 team parlay with all odds of -110 and you need to win all 8 for your wager to win and you bet 5 bucks you should be paid 885.60

But for what it's worth an 8 team parlay with all huge faves and 8 team parlay with all big underdogs, it doesn't matter, most books do not pay true odds on parlays.

If every player knew they were getting fucked books wouldn't do it, but most don't know:SIB

I myself only do parlays at books that give TRUE PARLAY ODDS. Sadly there are not many books that do this.

Old School..........you are right, I have heard in Vegas many times of "look at the chart" and "house edge" when listening to guys. Bottom line....it is a scam. If true odds are lets say 11-1 you can be dam sure "the chart" won't say 13-1:mj07:

But hey, math doesn't lie, true odds are what you should be paid....simple as that.

Like if you are playing blackjack and you get 20 and dealer gets 19...dealer pays you even money. And then you win another 4 times and then the 5th time they pay ya less then even money. They say "check the chart" and you say "ok well that is what the chart says":142smilie
