Did see Heinz also the other day DVJ when she was trying to pull Edwards kids thumb out of his mouth on tv. That was humerous but not to Kerry's wife--did you see the look she gave her :)

It was hard to miss since the WSJ ran with it as their picture on the front page to cover the Edward's announcement.

I predicted months agp in another thread that the attack on the soon-to-be First Lady would soon begin just as it did against Hillary. Seems our right wing wackos just HATE any woman with brains. Yep...barefoot and pregnant - baking cookies for the church bake sale -- that's a woman's place. Right ditto heads?

In her past, Laura Bush ran a stop sign while driving and killed someone. Can you imagine the right's response to a possible first lady that had that skeleton in her closet? It would be the ugliest situation ever imagined and yet it's a non-issue with the left and moderates. It's almost like psycho-hate politics the way the right plays the game. Anything, regardless of content or intent is fair game. No conscience, no moral compass. And yet people passively support this practice by allowing it to continue. Moore was right, we are the most ignorant people on the planet.

Auspice:

I am aware of our First Lady's faux pas in running a stop sign and killing a teenager. One other ditty, no charges were filed against lovely Laura. You are correct that if this happened to Kerry's wife you would not hear the end of it.

Let me see if I can anticipate the next post by one of the following regarding this issue:

a) Dogs That Bark;
b) Ctownguy;
c) Dr. Freeze; or
d) Intense Operator.

"It is my understanding that the reason Laura Bush ran the stop sign killing that young man was that she had just purchased the car she was operating and that the brakes failed. She purchased the car from an Arkansas family named Clinton."

I expect something along those lines.

Subject: Fw: Running Eagle

During a campaign tour of the Apache Nation Wednesday, Democratic
presidential candidate John Kerry said he had a plan to increase every Native American's income by $40,000 a year.Senator Kerry refused repeated requests for details of his plan,however. He also told the Apaches that during his Senate career, he has voted YES for every Indian issue ever introduced. Before his departure, the Apache Tribe presented the Presidential candidate a plaque inscribed with his new Indian name, Running Eagle.After Kerry left, tribal officials explained that a running eagle is a bird so full of shit it can't fly.

:142lmao: a buddy of mine has been sending me this chit,this 1 i got last week..i know alot of b.s comes through e-mail but hey u never know.

The Dems seem just a little too sensitive and very selective when it comes to memory. If the Repubs are so hell bent on criticizing high ranking Dems, why has Teddy's little Chappaquidick (sp?) episode been left out of the news for decades? I know that a big chunk of the populace knows nothing about it. Yet Kennedy continues his holier than thou attacks against Bush (justifiable if coming from someone else) without any response from the Bushophiles. If I was in the Repub Party, I'd let the world know what kind of a stand up guy Teddy was back then. Maybe some things like that and the Laura Bush story are just considered out of bounds????

Good point Ferd maybe it's off limits. I would ask why since Bush said MC Cain had a illegitimate black daughter in the primaries 3 years ago. Thats about as dirty as you can get. Yes there was a day Tedd got it thrown in his face all the time. Of course just as many he was cleared of wrong doing. I guess if Mrs Bush did run someone over she was to. But the question always asked is where they drunk. That goes with the deed. And was she tested. Last 30 years everyone gets tested.

Moore lies...ok what are the lies? They don't tell you they just say he lies.
So lets start with the stupid Emails now about non-issues. Anything to keep people from talking about the issues.

Thanks Auspice and Eddie for the Laura Bush biographical info. This is NOT an urban legend as my little bit of research has discovered. You would have thought that after an experience like that most thoughtful persons would have steered way clear of alcohol but she goes on to marry an alcoholic. I would say these two had a mutual love relationship with alcohol. And of course there are their daughters who obviously learned nothing from the mistakes of their spoiled parents youth.

"President George W. Bush acted just like an adult today as he arrived in Brussels and addressed a conference of NATO officials on the validity of a proposed missile shield. The pitch was met with serious skepticism since it is well known that Bush can't even prevent his own daughters from getting bombed." -- Craig Kilborn

I find it hilarious Republican supporters attacking someone because they might have connections to a big corporation.

Am I the only one that is laughing my ass off at that? We all know Dick Cheney doesn't cut deals with Big Oil now don't we?
