Redking,

I agree with you a 100%.Clemens should not have started the 1st game, & this is not a 2nd guess.I told my friend when Clemens was named the starter that he is being named the opening game starter based on his history. He didn't deserve the start.Pettite or Wells deserved to start the opening game, they both had a better year.

No opinion on the game (only play was Anaheim to hit the first double -130 -- thank you Bengie Molina), but I was tempted to take the Angels.

I've watched a lot of Angels games this year, and IMO they are what the Yanks used to be. Most notably, better pitching (lower ERA & OBA), team speed, contact hitting. NY is slugging it out this yr and do not resemble the NL-style squad we've all been accustomed to. They certainly do have the edge in playoff experience, and if anything, that may very well propel them to win this series.

I don't believe it.Fox switched from the NY game to the Az game here. Now the Az game is on 2 channels,& no NY game. What a bunch of amateurs! This alone is reason for me to move back to NY.Unbelievable!!!!

I just saw the highlights on ESPN.I don't know what Bernie is batting righthanded or lefthanded, but I would have left the lefty in if I was Scioscia.I think Williams is more dangerous batting lefthanded.Hopefully it will be a sweep & then Wells could start the next series.

Hope the Diamondbacks gets swept!

Bernie was this season and always has been a better hitter batting right-handed...no way Schoenweis was going to pitch to him.
