I loved "Cannon", it was very "big" in England when I was a kid. Anyone remember William Conrad?

Also, anyone ever heard of a show called "Garrison's Guerrillas"? Similar to "Combat".

"The Virginian".

There was a 1 hour comedy show Friday nights called 'Fridays"........where Jim Carey & Wayans Bros & Jamie Foxx got their starts. Hilarious show. I forgot what network it was on, but it was the answer to NBC's SNL.
If you want to go way back.......I was a lil tot and I couldn't wait for the Saturday morning line up of Mighty Mouse, Rin Tin Tin, Tales of Texas Rangers, Winky Dink and Captain Midnight.

Now, someone else tell me they remember those !!!!!

AR:

You and I are about the same age except, based upon your super bowl party photographs, I'm much better kept. I have thicker, darker hair as I stayed away from the Max Factor Crew Cut while listening to the Lion Sleeps Tonight by the Tokens when if first came out.

Unfortunately, I remember cigarette television advertiseing. Quiz: L.S.M.F.T.? Lets see if your really as old as your pictures suggest. While your contemplating, a little background music:

Ahhhh weema wacka, weema wacka, weema wacka, weema wacka, weema wacka, weema wacka. weema wacka. weema wacka, in the jungle, the mighty jungle, a lion sleeps tonight.....

To be sung to American Pie

"And the two men I admire most, Arnold and Willis of Different strokes, were in jail with bail to post, the day all the good tv shows died. And they were singin' bye bye Mr. Magnum PI, changed the channel to the Love Boat but the Love Boats run Dry. Them good old boys never meaning no harm and Gadget never got Dr. Claw."

Another actor/ comedian did his first TV work on Fridays, and in my mind it remains as some of the funniest stuff I had ever seen.
