.before I say anything I have to get this off my chest....met 6 of my college friends at the North Texas-So Miss game...had a blast before the game and that night...but during the game was unreal....I took North Texas knowing I was going to lose..didn't care.I wanted to cheer for my team....never get to do that since all my other favorite teams are adopted.. did take the under to cover my 2 big **'s at -6....I know the coach is being fired...but that was the worst coached team I have ever seen including rival HS coaches......no offense what so ever...put your head down and drive and run into someone..no not someone..3 def players....then on a rare occasion kick the ball out...NO...no one can shoot a 3..think they were 3-18. but the worst was defense.. So Miss had one white player..and he can shoot....they had no other outside shooter..he was left open the entire 1st half and hit 6 three pointers....his name was Ramy and had have no idea if it was a career day....the entire So Miss team shot 50% from the field....and every point was about 2 feet from the basket...layup or entry pass inside..of course their going to shoot 50% because they are 2 ft from the basket...NT would of been better if they just built a wall 4 ft from the basket with all 5 players surrounding the basket...at least let them have a 6 ft shoot....then one of the NT's players father comes right behind our coach and is yelling to put his son in....he;s yelling its Senior Day,let him play...well down by 20 this kid gets in...now he is the only white player on the NT bench....in his 2 minutes he never touches the ball..he s being frozen out by the others....buzzer goes off and never touched the ball....anyway thank god Beneford is being fired....final stats
So Miss 76-NT 53....USM 30-62 FG 48%...Davis 8-9 and Campbell 10-13...NT 4-19 from the 3 with 27 rebounds...it was So Miss 1st road win in almost 2 years....but there was some good news
The under was 138.5 so I won my under 131....a push for the afternoon....but treated everyone to Hoochies in Denton for dinner and beer...final tab down ***** boxes...lost but had a blast....

Tex St -4 over So Bama ***
Bobcats are 9-6 in conf...almost in 4th place...and their offense is so avg....but when you play outstanding defense your in every game...and they have been beating teams esp at home.. So bama had a tough time scoring vs UTA the other day....they beat the Bobcats the 1st time 72-67....but they are seeing a much better def team tonite....taking Tx St scares me because I'm always worried if they can score enough points...but think they win this..it can't be senior nite because I don't think they have any seniors...this is senior nite...and Bobcats have only one true scorer and its KGT...so tonite will be his farewell..big nite...I need him to hit a few 3's from 45 ft tonite since he killed me in their last game...
Coastal -6 over UL Monroe ****
Coastal just lost a tough game vs Laf...they are 9-7 in conf..UL is in last place 2-13 and has won only 2 rd games...Coastal beat them 61-48 at there place...think they Coast tonite and win by double digits...
La Laf -3.5 over Appa ****
Like Ragin cagins tonite...beat them 87-76 already...Appa has lost 10 of last 12....Laf impressed me when I got to see them vs Tex St Wright is a nice pt gd,Miller a soft lefty shooter and Bartley 4 is a stud...
Geo Southern +3 over Ark LR ***
GS is coming off big upset over Ark St...they are on top of the Sun standing...fighting for a 2 seed...LR is 4-11 in conf so really playing the season out until the tourney....
Ark St pk over Ga St *****
Like Ark St..had 1st place all locked up..tripped last week..at home they are 11-1 ....GSU loves to shoot the 3 but Ark St is probably the best def team in the Sun..at home...I had the line at Ark -5 or -6...strong play for me tonite
UTA -9.5 over Troy **
I liked the Mavs...a lot of talent...UTA is 22-6...Troy blew them away the 1st time 93-71....think tonite it goes opposite....UTA has won 10 of 11 since that loss....if everyone stays healthy UTA is a dangerous team at the dance....and just in case UTA doesn't win the Sun Tourney they want and at large bid....they did beat Mary out in the West Coast...think Heervey and co pound Troy...
