Great song writer, been a fan of his for about 10 years. I didn't get a chance to see his letterman interview, but I've read quite a few things that make it sound that he's enjoying the time he has with his family.
My dad has lung cancer and it has to be one of the shittiest illnesses around. I recommend living life for the now and with the holidays fast approaching make sure you let the loved ones in your life know how much you care.

Dogfish - missed that....damn....
Would have been kinda surreal ....i must admit i love his approach to his inevitable end....he knew it was coming and knew he was at fault for it but said he's had 2 great lives....one as a rock star and one as a parent...LMAO when he said he didn't want to go "before the new Bond movie came out"
He will be sorely missed though...
