ANGELS/MARLINS OVER 8 -115 - Ramon Ortiz has been a major disappointment this season. While he has managed to go 5-5, that is only because he has gotten some excellent run support. Ortiz has a high 5.27 ERA with an equally poor 1.54 ratio, and opposing batter are hitting a whopping .304 off of him! Not surprisingly, the Over is a very solid 8-3, 72.7% in all of his starts. Granted, Penny is quietly having an excellent season for the Fish, with his 3.50 ERA and 1.34 ratio. However, he may not have as easy a time with this tough Anaheim lineup as he has vs. the weaker offenses of the National League. The Angels put 9 runs on the board last night vs. the previously hot Phelps, and they are now averaging 5.16 runs per game on the road.
