As a principal for many years I used double secret probation my entire career...many teachers and students never got it..way over their heads..but many got it...it was my way of giving kids a second chance or teachers who messed up...when I retired last year the faculty gave me a nice plaque with my favorite quotes at a retirement dinner...." double secret probation" was No 2....
