Another Computer Problem

I had that same exact problem 4-5 weeks ago !

I had that same exact problem 4-5 weeks ago !

Then I went and got Norton Firewall and it disappeared. No more problems.

I think different computers maybe incurring differnet problems. But since i got that Firewall from norton, it has alerted me to alot of Trojan virus attempts.

yea, for sure, if you don't have a router or ip-sharing box with a built-in firewall and

.... you are on high-speed and NOT using XP then you need firewall software.

.... you are on high-speed and using XP ... just use the built in firewall.

if you are on dial-up, i wouldn't bother with any firewall software unless you camp on the internet with it.

that being said, and this is only a personal observation and preference .... i have seen or tried every solution available and i can say that there is no better product out there than that produced by Computer Associates. their EZ-Antivirus and EZ-Armour products blow away anything else. imho.

the truth is that sadly, the internet has become a cesspool ....
