another computer question

phoenix has another database program for tracking your wagers. i haven't seen it because i don't have excel installed, but he claims it's great.

question: (without looking it up in the manual and figuring this out myself)

how do i provide a program on my server (site) so that people can click the link and download the program? please be specific.

Jack, couple more minor tweaks, but final version should be done this week. Consider the one you have the 'beta' version. It is fully functional, just gonna add a few more stats.

MJ, create your link, instead of using http you use ftp then the file location. You really need an FTP server though if you're going to dish up files. You can do it off your main server if the traffic is not too high, just need to have FTP protocol enabled.

Will the final version be available to all of us who requested the "beta" version?
I have been tweaking the version you sent to Jack-- and while I like it a lot, I'm still thinking I can get it to do some more recordkeeping as well.
