Nba sucks out with another ot changing the outcome of a games under pace in second half and game, over players get paid for some unknown reasonis it because of the defensive rep of these teams?Miami hadn't failed on an offensive possession the last two minute but James gets flagged with an offensive foul 12 feet from the basket with 8 seconds left, then they couldn't,t be stopped in ot.I ll bet between the four college tourney and thepro post season I,ve lost six unders this way.the last game and 2 h in Miami going over and Miami makes you scratch.your head, aren' t they a public favorite? What sense does Miami and over keep making as a result?how does the action stay balanced with the public favorite winning and going over two games in a row?

How my book started offering OT or NO OT just 2 games ago out of all of these playoff games and then just like magic last 2 games go into OT.

That offensive foul CALL on Lebron was fucking joke.
You never ever would see that call on the superstar unless there was an ulterior motive.

Upstairs watching sports on the big TV.
Ask yourself this..

Ask yourself this..

With all the worldwide commercial marketing money for Lebron, Wade and all the crap flying when the Miami team was formed;
Who makes the Championship game a MUST watch?
Lakers were old news and totally exposed.
So Vegas loses X million on the favorite..
NBA makes XXXXXXXXXX gazillion..maybe they cut Vegas a small check for the insult?

Chicago game 1 took Miami to the house and looked like a lock for the series.
Then the true script came out,
Chicago probably did get f**cked....hell, Oprah upstaged them.
NBA has morphed into Big Time Wrestling.

And then you gotta ask...

And then you gotta ask...

Well if that is the case, would it not benefit the NBA that these series go to 7 games?

Or

How come Orlando made the finals instead of Lebron led Cleveland

Or....throwing hands in air,

Why do I bet this SH*T at all....

I am not implying that the nba is fixed,it simply looks "orchestrated" sometimes. When watson went to the line and hit both ends with 1:30 to go,I held my breath,on the next possesion, when Rose went to the line same thing, you knew his splitting the pair meant it was much more likely to go to ot. The bulls were the more tired team in ot,expending a herculian effort defensively in the second half to get that far. a very smart pro handicapper once said "the harder I work, the luckier I get" meaning if youre on the right side you benefit from these unlikely looking endings far more often than not. The way it gets there just looks like luck, but it never is,it just looks like luck. The playoffs in the nba are difficult. Thats why there are so few posters and so few players at this stage of the season. It like the mirror in the fun house, what appears to be never is,its likely just the opposite of what it appears to be. Lines are tight and growing tighter as these series progress. Congratulations to those smart enough to have played miami and over and dallas and over in the last two games,i am a contrarian player and usually start out with the assumption that the same result is unlikely to happen twice (or more) times in a row. Most of the time this is a correct assumtion, but of course not always, and in the case of two teams playing repeatedly for the better part of ten or twelve days sometimes the same result plays out back to back. I agree with dead money the time might be right to say bag it for the year,as these last two second halfs going overhave taken the fun out of it for me,(at least until an hour before gametime tonight.) Congratulations are in order for poster KC Wolf,in the many years I've read posts at Madjacks,I'm certain there hasn't been a finer performance posted in the NBA playoffs.

HELL
I agree with a lot of this, I probably even shouldnt state that I had Chicago +7 -130, and yes Noah ran like hell to sure enough foul Lebron with about 1 second left, why I dont know. Regardless, most good or great cappers probably shut it down, but for some like myself that dont have a life anymore I enjoy the action, however I dont make a single wager worth a damn at this stage in the playoffs its more about the addiction of picking a winner and having a rooting interest. The $ amount won or lost would barely fill up someones SUV probably.

So. Cal
boy that one sucked

24 hours later and it still stings

having the bulls-bulls ml and under and all of those parlayed in game and bulls-ml parlayed to dal over and dal from the night before was a real killer....havent run the numbers yet because i'm still numb but it might have been a 5-6k swing

as soon as it went to ot i knew the bulls were losing by 6 or more, guaranteed.

and to make matters worse, i'm a bulls fan....and to make matters even worse, i have em at 25-1 to win it all (bad line provided to me in march)....i've got that backed up with dal at 18-1 and i absolutely now KNOW that mia will beat dal in the finals by shooting 350 ft's in a 7 game series.

What would Michael DO?

What would Michael DO?

All I could think of when Lebron got the offensive foul called against him was, "Didn't I see similar calls go Michael's way in the past?"

Can someone please explain why overtime is included on a second half wager? I thought the 3rd and 4th quarters = a second half wager??

Killer- making statements like sports gambling is easy is strange since you needed overtime to win your easy bet.the second you start saying and thinking its easy means the goddess of gambling might transform you into a waiter soon.be careful....

Where's Sponge when u need him!

Last year a better Baylor team got absolutely hosed down the stretch against an inferior Duke team, to rob them out of a chance for a national titile. This same year a better Boston team got absolutely hosed in game seven as LA marched to the free throw line 27 times in the forth quarter. The darling Duke and the darling Lakers somehow on the receiving end of all the bogus calls. Both teams their opponents heavily bet. Both games the books made out like bandits. Why does all this strange shit happen and the books always seem to be on the right side of the strange shit  It is not that hard to figure out why. We have corrupt politicians, corrupt cops, corrupt judges, corrupt wall street traders yet I'm supposed to believe with huge huge huge money on the line all the refs and these leagues are straight as an arrow. :mj07: :mj07: Corrupt mechanics, corrupt chimney sweep guys, corrupt air conditioner and heater repairmen, corrupt doctors, corrupt lawyers but David Stern is 100 percent legit? :mj07: :mj07: By the way guys i have been doing this stuff for over thirty years.
Forget about game 7's. The oddsmakers get their money first. Then come the networks. As early as last year there were no game 7's in these conference finals. Boston and the Lakers won their series early and there were no games on the weekend or memorial day.

Agreed. Its not the multitude of calls. It can take just one call to change the swing or momentum of the game. Harden? Comes down to the oh mighty dollar. I see it everyday in American business. If there wasn't $ involved u would see different outcomes different motives. College sports for example. Although there is $ involved "behind the scenes" u don't see as much "dictation". When they say "get on the right side" its not just getting on the right team. Its a loaded statement.

To underline your point about one call changing a game, right before dirk hits the go ahead three Westbrook was clearly fouled on the rebound attempt, knocked to the floor by chandler, oklacity would have been up three or four instead of down one with a little more than a minute to go
