Where it is real F ing COLD
I personally don't care about any religious belief, I think many people use religion as a crutch, I do support people's right to have a religion, even though I don't agree with it.

On the other hand, I am kind of glad that the cartooinst admits that republicans are homophobic, sexist, racist, gun toting religious fanatics. I am also glad people are so open about this, cause it's those views that ensure the republican party is dying cause honestly we don't need those views a top the country.
It's interesting to see how some of the younger republicans are starting to "get it" and realizing that if they want to win, their platform has to change.

I find it funny how republicans and neocons on this board are so pist about their rights being taken away with the gun laws but think nothing of other people's rights being taken away.

Pity Really

My question is why do people care if gays marry? I mean why do other people need to be in their business? Don't people have enough to worry about with their own lives to worry about someone else's?
i can't understand it.

survivor benefits is the first issue I have with it. insurance companies having to cover spouse, definition of marriage is in question. if it is legalized, why not plural marriages, or marrying your dog

Aww the sanctity of marriage, because heterosexuals sure have that nailed down pretty well right?

And please show me the legal connection between allowing same sex marriage that someone is going to find a loop hole and marry their dog?

But christ, someone may use this as a scheme to get their buddy insurance, oh my gosh. Let's put the kabosh on it right away.

Well I think the first part is very petty. Why can't they have survivor benefits and why is that such a big deal? In the realm scheme of life we are going to deny people rights because of survivor benefits. :mj07: That's a joke Hedgy. Who defines a marriage? Religion?

I think the dog analogy is just a last resort tactic by republicans and very narrow minded. Another joke.

1. A dog etc is not the same species.
2. A dog etc cannot give consent.
3. When people (HOMO SAPIENS) get married, both parties have to agree with it.

many Americans disagree with gay marriage, if they pass it, hopefully the politicians will tax the hell out of them at least. Since they mostly do not have kids, they should pay more of their fair share, make it expensive for these people at least...gay tax bracket
