well, as i sit here in dr.strangelove's mansion, i thought i'd let everyone who cares to know about our "meeting" tonite.
after celebrating my 8th in a row baseball pick against LOS TIGRES, we decided to entreat ourselves to some entertainment at the good DR's mansion and watch a DVD which was entitled "National Lampoon's Van Wilder" or some thing to that title.....hey, we've had a fair amount of shots tonite....
Speaking of shots, the good DR showed myself and Spock his fab mansion decor and the wide variety of spirits and alcohol in his collection....
sad to say, that's all they are, most were collectables and not meant to be drunk, a few thousand dollars worth of spirits.....we had an interesting discussion about that one.
Back to the movie, I have to say although the plot was quite unoriginal and trite, the humour was right along the lines of American Pie and brought back great memories on my 4 years in a great university institution...(which i hope to frequent on pub nites....
)
in other words, it was a good movie for one liners and laughs.
Frosh week is coming soon!!!! Maybe the Madjack cerw will crash a few of those this year.... i know i'll be crashing one in Waterloo next week....
So, once again, i'd like to thank the good DR for his hospitality and a good time with the food, drinks and entertainment...
now that the good DR has dropped off SPOCKY (who has to work tomorrow), we'll probably go and paint the town red....
