Give our jobs away, give our military away, dumb down so a free ride is the norm not the exception, take our values and morals away,Take our country away. While were at it lets legalize everything, wtf.who cares....

Who gave our jobs away? The corporations.

Who gave our Military away? WTF are you talking about? It's worldwide and the most powerful military in the world.

Free rides? Been going on forever, won't ever stop. People will always try to get one over on the government, their company, their family, their friends...and on and on. There are a lot of assholes out there and they aren't any more plentiful.

Who took your values and morals away? NOBODY! They are your values and morals, live your life and be a good person. Quit worrying about the morals and values of others. They aren't your charge.

Take our country away? Another claim that makes no sense. What are you talking about??? Our country is here and it will stay here, but it will forever be changing....sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. Grow up and deal with it.

While we're at it, let's legalize everything? Um, marriage is legal....has been for years. We're just trying to end the discrimination as to who's allowed to participate.

Here is my stance on this subject. Im against it. Im against all marriage. Why do gay's feel a need to get married? Did a heterosexual married couple tell them it was a good idea? Now lets get to something more important. Abortion. Haven't heard anything about that lately. okcjttrf.

Rusty feels - as do many exceptionally religious people - that their opinions and morals are more correct and valued than others who do not share their religious beliefs. He somehow feels that if two people of the same sex enter into a marriage anywhere on the planet, it will hurt him somehow. No matter what those people are like, what they believe in, how they treat others, how they live their lives.

For the life of me, I just don't understand this line of thinking. Especially when people on this earth try to tell everyone what God would do or think about those that those people do not agree with. How self-righteous is it for a human being to tell others what God "would do or think" in any situation?

That, of course, allowing for there being a God in the first place. To each their own on that one.

And yet, you want to silence how other people feel, and prevent them from doing what is in their head, their heart, and by many scientific reports, in their chemistry and genes.

All based on your own personal faith, based on a book put together ions ago, by self-serving people that picked and chose what books and personal reports and opinions that they wanted to include in that book.

I'm not silencing how you feel. Nobody is. You have a right to the way you feel. The irony and sadness of your position is that you cannot allow for a difference of opinion or way of life, while asking to be valued in how you personally feel ? again, based on a personal faith in what you were probably taught to believe.

This is why I consider many forms of religion, political affiliations, and viewpoints to be very hypocritical. You continually point out the shortcomings of the actions and beliefs of others, and then act hurt when others do the same to you.

Sorry, you can't have it both ways, despite wanting to. By the way - I have my own personal belief in a higher power, was baptized in a Southern Baptist church, and have attended church for many periods of my life. So, I guess I may be a bit of a conundrum for you to tell what to do. I realize in your eyes I come up short as a man, because I feel differently than you do, and don't spend all my time espousing religion and judgment on others. But, I'll probably survive.

That's fine, Rusty. If you aren't homosexual, nobody is going to try to force you into another choice.

Now how about you get off the idea that society or government should force others into your choice.

You see, Rusty it's just fine if you are allowed to hold whatever beliefs you like and live whatever lifestyle you choose.

It's not fine for you to condemn others who make different choices than you. Your self-serving religious idea that you know what is best for eveyone else has led to more killing and torture than any political ideas. Read about the Crusades, The Inquisition, Witch Trials, Jew burnings and the like and see the result of your arrogant ideas that you know what is tight.

I'm sure you condemn Muslims, yet Christianity is far more evil.

You say all of that and then judge Christians to be evil.

Classic.

Yes it is classic. When religions worm their way into power, they use that power to slaughter the adherents of other religions.

Surely you know enough history to understand that most religions are inherently evil. Christians just happen to have generated the highest body count.

The numero uno religious terrorist of all time was Pope Urban II.

As they say, "you could look it up".

Chad ,it runs deeper than religion.Look at this country and how far are values and morals have backslided. It just makes me sad that generation after generation has lost their way and its more than just the gay marriage issue thats on the plate.

Rusty - I'd like a straight answer to a question. Do you think you judge others based on your set of beliefs, and at the same time are bothered when others judge you based on their set of beliefs? If not, why not?

Honestly no bc first off I would never of posted this if I cared what others thought.I work in retail and I know gay people who are very nice people.

I do admit I wouldn't openly confront them on this matter to save conflict, but if it ever got brought up,I would discuss the issue.I also am skeptical its a gene issue bc one could have it in the family like my bro in laws brother, but not him leading me to believe its a prefrence issue.

So, after wading through your commentary - you do not think you judge others on your set of beliefs? It seems you said no, but it's hard to tell.

I realize you are skeptical about things outside your set of beliefs - you don't have to explain that. I'd be curious to see a yes or no answer to the above question, after yet another answer.

On a side note, I see you realize that you know some people working in retail that are "gay" that are "nice" people. I'm guessing that they are probably nicer in many ways that others who are more "righteous" in their beliefs... what could that tell you?

If you're so sanctimonious about heterosexual marriage, where is your outrage of the at least 50% failure in marriage Rusty?

C'mon kid, you ran your mouth when I was smackin Skulnik around. Why won't you debate this?
