i copied this post from another site:

"I ususally post up using Western Union and I've never had a problem...Someone a couple of days ago or so said that if you try to wire more than 3 grand or so they'll make you fill out an IRS form. Is that true? Is there a magic number? I always get paid via check, kept under 5 gs always. Any thoughts? "

another poster stated to stay as far away from western union as possible.

a few weeks ago i asked about sending money online to a book online. but found out from the western union site that the most a person can send online is $2000.

i dealt with western union a few years ago & never had to fill out an irs form.

i know the funds are sent to a person, but is there any maximum western union takes without giving personal info?

thanks
