Is it an individual or a dealership that is selling it? If it is an indvidual, perhaps they are just trying to move it. If it is a dealership ask them why it is so far off of blue book price.

its a dealership, a friend of mine is the salesman. He said i need to get this for it because i got this in it. I figured they got the car cheap on a trade in and are not wanting the KBB price on it. Thats all i can figure.

do you have a certified mechanic that can look the vehicle over for you..

if you do..take if for another test drive and have him/her look it over..

I can see ya getting a great buy from private party purchase..

It's another thing for a dealership to not get every penny they can hope to get out of one of the most trusted economy rides in the industry.

What Edmunds Says

Though it's one of the older cars in the midsize segment, the 2007 Honda Accord is still a great choice for consumers wanting a sedan or coupe that does just about everything right.
Pros

Roomy and stylish interior with simple controls, tight build quality, smooth ride, refined drivetrains, good crash test scores, strong reputation for reliability, high resale value.

Cons

Brakes should be more powerful, missing some of the premium features being offered by newer competitors, Hybrid model's disappointing fuel economy.

I took it for a test drive and was on the Interstate and slammed on the brakes. They work real good trust me. Wifey was like wat the fuk are u doing? I said im testing the brakes what do u think im doing?

The car is nice and thats all she needs to go to school which is 3 blocks away and to dance practice which is a mile away. It might take her 2 years to put 10K miles on this car. My wife had a Honda Accord 10 years ago and loved it, it never gave us any problems.

will the price differ if i pay in cash or finance the car?

Somewhat of a loaded question.

Financing a car almost always cost more, because of the cost of interest/credit; than paying for a car with cash.

Some dealerships don't care, because once the car is purchased it is off the lot, they made their sale. Now some smaller dealerships, buy-here-pay-here types may lower the price if paid in cash, because they want to move cars and offer the incentive to purchase up front without financing. However, many of those types love to have cars financed 'in house' because their interest rates are extreme.

However having cash in hand, always puts the buyer in the driver's seat, because they are not subject to the numerous games/schemes that can unfold once you talk financing with a dealer, regardless of the finance source.

Good luck.
