That game is a coin flip if I've ever seen one, should start out PK in my opinion and see where the money goes....

After watching both teams numerous times, I am wondering if Pitt is too physical for the Cats? Kelly is worth at least 7 points compared to Wanney

It's weird, I wonder if the pressure of being unbeaten is taking a toll on Cincy. QB aside, I thought they were much more aggressive early season, seemed to be a step quicker than opponents, hit harder, such a hardnose club. Obviously the quality of opponents has improved, but the season has worn on them.

Neutral field Cincy is a 3.5-5 point favorite, in Pitt it's a dead heat. Should be a good one to watch. I've been pulling for the Bearcats all year, hope they finish the regular season off unscathed.

is pitt really that much more physical than oregon state? those two teams really slugged it out in the sun bowl last year. and cincy won at oregon state this year, holding the beavers to 2.9 yards per carry.

i'm looking at pitt's schedule and i ask, what is their biggest win of the year? notre dame? south florida? cincy's win at oregon state is more impressive than anything pitt has done this year. we'll see how the panthers do at west virginia. even if they're able to win that rivalry game, i don't see them having much left in the tank for cincinnati.

and you are dead right about the coaches. maybe 'the stache' has been staying out of the way this year.

Hello boys:

Can't find a bigger bearcat fan than moi. Been to all UC games this year except Cuse, Beavers, and Rutgers. Cats defense is starting to get exposed. A big offensive line like Rutgers was pushing my guys off the ball 3 yards at time. Was very scarey.

Lewis scares the living daylights out of me. My guess is Kelly (actually Kerry Combs) is going to stack the line and make the Pitt qb beat them through the air. I think Pike will start and we will balance run and pass. Lots of wide receiver screens.

Wanstadt is due to lay an egg. Kelly is 3rd or 4th best coach in college football. UC special teams with Gilyard will set up offense in good field position. I look for a phenomenal football game.

I will be there in the Post-Gazette suite. Still working on hotel arrangements and looking for local mjer's to possibly meet after the game. Due to sec championship game that day also which will be the prime timer, i think uc-pitt will get a 3:30 start so anticipate stumbling into some sleezy pittsburghian bar and ordering an icb around 7:15.

as far as the spread, it will be tight but this will be one hell of a football game. go cats 12-0. (now watch us lose to Illinois).

Couldn't agree more...with all of it...had been wondering if anyone felt the same. I like Cincinnati myself, but wonder if they could take Oregon St now?...altho I guess it's beside the point.

ORGST would not only be a beast for Cinci to beat right now, but I think they could possibly knock off any top 10 team right now. Very strange team, they get off the blocks slow, but close with a fury. With that being said, I will take TCU and 10 points against any team in the country on a netraul field. I have watched most of the top ten teams play numerous times, and I think TCU could win or keep the game close against anyone. I don't have the same feeling with UC and Boise State, as I think both those teams lack the defense to stay in a game with Bama, Texas and Florida.

Have to agree about TCU also...Just been looking at stats but can't wait to see them play...They may not even need 10pts.

My bet is the public will want to bet on UC out of the gates. Therefore, Vegas opens up a bigger spread than expected. My bet is anywere from -4 to -7
