I agree with you on Oly, but I strictly play there. Just makes me rethink about needing multiple places to play.

I don't see how this should be a loss since the game isn't over, but hey, that's just me.

Irregardless of the rule, I don't get why something like this differs from book to book. Seems to me like it should be a common rule either way.

completely agree you should call them and make sure they change it
they arent tryhing to rip you off

that s just their rule wrong or not

tell them to change it

i agree as well
pinny is where to play for baseball lines

but oly is the best all round
no reason to switch because of a weird rule that wont have an effect oin you again

It's the same at other books. I had the same thing happen with Betjamaica. It's not like the book is robbing you, even though having the Cubs makes you feel like you got bent over. They paid out ML on Pirates there, and in Vegas. I have never been bitten by this rule, but if you play long enough, you see about everything.

I've already emailed them, and have gotten no reply so far. Probably wont until the morning, but that's okay. They've been good about correcting things in the past, so at the least, I would like a reasonable explanation as to why it wont continue play in the morning.

Worst case, why not cancel the wager? Calling it a loss seems bogus. I could settle with a push on this wager and still win the parlay.

I really like Oly, but think its best to finally give some other good books a look too. Nothing personal, just more like an eye opener to consider other things too. They are classy operation regardless of how it plays out.

Just got email from them, and just as the rules that I posted, they grade the wager as a loss.

My question now is, since this is a loss, but the game is not final, will they post a new line on it tomorrow to finish the game out? I know that sounds stupid, but when in Rome I guess.

WSEX graded it a loss as well, even after phoning them. I know its the right rule, just frustrating.

cost me a $1200 swing

05/01/2007 16:13:58 3 Play Parlay: Wagered $250.00 to win $997.40 Unsettled
B 17 5/1 NEW JERSEY AT TORONTO TORONTO (-170) (W)
BA 29 5/1 CHICAGO A: J VAZQUEZ AT SEATTLE: J WASHBURN SEATTLE: J WASHBURN (-113)
BN 1 5/1 CHICAGO N: T LILLY AT PITTSBURGH: T ARMAS CHICAGO N: T LILLY (-150) (L)

sux, but i guess its the rules. still pretty chitty way to lose. not sure why they just don't grade on outcome tomorrow.

oh well, get em tomorrow

Agree holmes. Makes no sense if the game is still to be played, but have to accept it and move on. Woulda been nice of the Cubs to just lay down and not come back at all:mj07: :142smilie

Woke up and I'm still pissed about this. Not at the books for going by the rules, but the fact that it's even a rule.

Why not grade the bet as push/cancel rather than by what happened the previous inning? I lose the bet because the Cubs score 4 runs in the 7th and not 6th?

Goodbye to my parlay:SIB

I have bet on baseball for 25 yrs. and thought MLB games weren't ever suspended. A game went official after 5 1/2 innings, is this a new rule?

I have read on a few other boards that Bodog refunded Cubs money tonight.

Can anyone confirm this?
