I should stay in my own thread-lane. Music and light puffs should get me to morning bells.
I'm getting old and/or jaded, but the younger Jamaican wannabes around here are dipshits, while the older crowd is way more clued about co-existence. Staggeringly consistent.
Recent puffing companion around these parts--a 78-year old Jamaican going by Sonny--wouldn't bite on his favorite Bob Marley track reveal, but he did toss a name that I hadn't heard in ages and never fully grokked regardless.
Peter Tosh was a singer/songwriter together with Marley in the Wailers, apparently until some kind of seemingly fashionable member dispute derailed the program (re: Lennon/McCartney, Waters/Gilmour, Gabriel/whoever in Genesis, ad absurdum (crap, I thought of a whack ton earlier, back in discussion with Sonny, some 15 hours and X doobies ago)). Point made. Where's my flippin' tunes pipe?! Fuck the police.
Well, I see this guy was actually born in Chicago. His father was from Jamaica and, apparently, was the first black man to play for the Scottish Celtic FC.
