Sometime during the life of this thread I did LSD for the first time in decades, but just updated my crazy song list and see I missed a relevant Jimi track, save for the live offer a couple days back. Also, that cheesy Monday, Monday was the first & only Mamas & Papas go, which is missing at least one good trip.

I'm allegedly waiting for a plumber to replace a galvanized pipe.
Need a puff to chill my early caffeine buzz.
Today will be a long day. I don't mind.

For the first time in ages, my dispensary is offering 3g cubensis chocolate bars again. Did a single one--early June, I think, and was easily the best of my 10 or 12 psych trips this year. I'm thinking two of those should pretend to some kind of heroic dose, if there even is such a thing. Too late for promise to self of pre-kickoff, but I did have a couple of bad trips in there, as a deterrent, I guess. I'll need 48-hour caffeine detox to try again. New deadline of November 13th. Will be the 1-year anniversary of the end of my former life. Haunting.

Fuck, I want a drink. Angst and 7-up will have to do.

There's a pretty cool, live BBC version of this next, but I love the studio track so !@%$ it.

We follow The Dreamer through the purple, hazy cloud
so he can control our sense of time.

We thought we were lost but
no matter how we tried

everyone was in peace of mind.

Those lines first toyed with my head some 40'ish years ago.
It's the no matter how we tried part.
Deception is evil.
Self-deception is the original evil, perhaps.
But, who's the arbiter?

I have NFL fave/dogs at 7-7-1 vs spread for week 3 (missed one in count, somewhere). Was that about right? I'd heard some talk about dogs historically rocking in week 3, giving me some concern as I had several faves. Same trouble this week, though some tiny spread games which don't really seem fave/doggy at all. NFL ain't binary after all, like Aaron Rodgers was bleating.

Thinking Jaguars. Colts a little less so. No way they both grab road wins, aye? AFC South vs NFC West. Rams the only public darling of the lot, for the early season. Maybe they're overpriced.

Is this one scalding hot September or is the Earth hurtling towards the Sun? I've been avoiding the news.

What a tease, this plumber. Speaking of tease, enough with the skirts.

For a different kind of heroic dose, I'd been considering what proper <cough> escort etiquette is, and what internet stomp risk might pertain. I need to get out more.
