Niagara G Lewis out vs Drexel with foot injury

LEWISTON, N.Y.?Niagara senior guard Tyrone Lewis is sitting out the team's early-morning home-opener against Drexel because of a left foot injury.
Lewis is listed as day-to-day and was in street clothes while wearing a protective boot Tuesday morning prior to the 8 a.m. EST tip-off between non-conference opponents. The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference defensive player of the year last season, Lewis was hurt in the first half of the Purple Eagles' season-opening 69-65 loss at Auburn last week.
He finished fourth in the nation with 91 steals last season, while also leading Niagara in scoring with 16.2 points per game.
