MIAMI (TICKER) -- Jesus Sanchez makes his season debut Wednesday as the Florida Marlins wrap up a three-game series with the Montreal Expos.
Sanchez (NR) had a 5.34 ERA last season and fell out of favor during spring training with a 13.26 ERA. Before the season, he was sent to Class AAA Calgary of the Pacific Coast League, where he went 6-1 with a 3.21 ERA, striking out 58 and walking 33.
The 26-year-old lefthander is 0-3 with a 7.20 ERA lifetime against Montreal.
